Lucy is a very hard working woman of 33 years and lives in her own home with her two children, Wendy, who is eight years old, and John, who is three. What she wants most is to give them a good education. She is a woman who has always strived to improve her life. She has a clothing stall in the Tupac Amaru market (the major market in the city of Juliaca) and sells jackets, pants, sweaters, etc. – everything for children at very affordable prices. That is why her stall is very busy with customers. For Lucy, the most difficult part of the job is getting the clothes she sells, as it is very demanding dealing with the suppliers. She hopes in the future to have a larger clothing shop where she can sell with greater ease. She has been doing this work for 15 years and what she enjoys most is to see how the clothes that she sells to her young clients look, because she is very fond of children. Lucy wants to advance her business and be able to have a better life. This is her second loan with MFP and like she did with her previous credit she wants to pay on time and without difficulties. In her community bank she is very respected because she is the most active and committed member. With two thousand new soles that she is asking for she plans to buy more merchandise and increase sales.
