Aquiles is 23 years old and lives with his wife and son in his mother’s home. From a young age he demonstrated a talent for agriculture. He has always tried to be very responsible and today he has a crop of 25-30 sacks of potatoes that he grows in transitional fields. He also grows beans and corn in irrigated fields. Aquiles is very content with his farmwork. When he finishes caring for his crops, he goes to help his father, because he wants to repay his father’s efforts. What his father likes best out of the whole agricultural process is the marketing, because he always hopes to get a good price for his crops. But once he gets to the market, he gets a little clumsy and sometimes loses track of the accounting. Aquiles always tries to help him out with some pointers. Aquiles is the president of his community bank and this is his 8th loan with MFP. In all of this time he has proven to be very responsible, both in his duties and in his payments. The loan he is asking for is to purchase fertilizer for his varied crops.
